Advanced Urology, a subsidiary of Advanced Health System, is a privately held 45 provider powerhouse urology practice in the metro Atlanta suburbs. We are founded, owned, and led by urologists. We have great people, amazing culture, and an incredible care model.

We are unique in being a provider and facility network. This means that all patient care is provided in our 9 ambulatory care centers which feature modern offices, amazing surgery centers, comprehensive lab services, digital imaging, and novel clinical trials. We have 17 state of the art operating rooms featuring the latest in technology and high tech equipment including a daVinci X robot.

Governance

We are physician owned, led and governed. Participate in governance meetings held monthly and led by our five leadership physicians. We have provider meetings , journal club, difficult case conference, and tumor board monthly. We are well connected and collegial.

Work/Life Balance

Every provider is based out of a dedicated office and surgery center location 5 days a week. Hospitals are within 1 mile of every office. Most providers live next to their home office. Call is generally 1 in 8. This maximizes your useful time and minimizes wasted time in travel.

Tremendous Support

We have tremendous staff support including Physician Assistants (1 or 2 per urologist), documentation, information technology, billing, coding, and scheduling. This reduces physician fatigue and increases your quality of life.

Great Care

We deliver amazing, high quality, low cost care every day. Every center includes modern offices, imaging, labs and a surgery center. This allows you to provide all care for a patient in house. If a patient has a 9mm ureteral stone, you have the chance to treat that patient the same day.

Education

Learning never stops. We believe education is critical for providers. We have an intense orientation and onboarding program with didactics, handouts, and provider education manuals. In addition, we have monthly journal club for ongoing education. Education is a part of our culture, and to that effect you are expected to teach daily.

Awesome Compensation

Our providers make over 90th percentile compensation in addition to comprehensive benefits. Compensation is derived from professional fees, ancillary testing (urodynamics), lab testing, pathology, and ambulatory surgery center ownership.
